Black Skimmers jockeying for hunting position
in the pre-sunrise moments. They shouldn't worry though,
in that area of The North Shore public beach, on the western
shore of Tampa Bay, downtown St. Petersburg, they really
have the other birds and even the others small schools of birds
that live their, intimidated. The ospreys, egrets and
herons give them their space. The Pelicans like to throw
their weight around though and will crash right thorough a
school of them if there's a lot of food jumping around under
them . . . |
