My camera - A Fuji FinePix s5100
This page will be completed later, probably with photos of my other Digital Cameras. But for now here's my latest digital camera love, a Fuji FinePix s5100.
The Camera I had before that was a Fuji FinePix e550:

It had an interesting story behind it. One Evening I was taking sunset photo out on Upham beach with my fiance' and it was getting dark. On our way back to our car, my fiance fruitlessly tried to take photos of this and that in the waning light. My eye caught something in the sand. Partially buried I took a closer look. As were practically the only ones left ion the beach at this point I picked up what appeared to a ladies very small makeup case. It felt oddly heavy. I looked around for anyone carrying stuff toward the parking lot or even moving in that general direction at all. No-one. So I unzip it and look what I see inside. The above Camera!
I took out a couple "Found" ads in a couple newspapers, and I got a couple calls but no one came even close to describing the camera. After two months I began to call it mine. I had just bought a camera though. A Fuji Fine Pix A340 (see below). Well this camera (the E550) turned out to be a case of "Easy come Easy Go." I noticed after a while that it had a large lens defect that showed in any photo with a lot of any one particular color in it. Then after another month or two, it took a little tumble into the grass and the lens assembly broke. The camera repair guys said I needed a whole new lens & assembly. It was cost a few hundred dollars so I just bought the S5100 above.

One of the very nice things about this digital cameras was that the images it took were totally uncompressed bitmaps. It had some excellent quality to the small images it produced. It came out a long time ago. It had no zoom and the maximum image size was 640x480.. Which for back then was pretty good. Other features that made a camera "high quality" back then: It took AA's (soi you could use rechargeables - this is still a good feature today) It had a large LCD in the back, a sliding protective lens cover,
