Fort DeSoto Park in St. Petersburg FloridaFort Desoto Park is located at the very southern tip of the Pinellas Peninsulain St. Petersburg Florida. It used to be a well kept secret until "DR. Beach" named it America's #1 beach. Nowadays it's getting a bit crowded. And it's still summer! Anyway it is a wonderful park that includes more than just a really nice beach. Here's a satellite photo of Fort Desoto Park in it's entirety.It has several beaches. campgrounds, two fishing piers (they provide some of the best fishing in St. Petersburg) a gift shop, picnic shelters and of course, Fort Desoto. These photos are large enough to make excellent desktop wallpapers. On this web site I can't place a desktop wallpaper for every size computer screen. But on the desktop Wallpaper CD I can and have.
