This photo of some shore birds playing on St Petersburg North Beach on Tampa Bay in downtown St Petersburg. It was taken with my Fuji FinePix s5100. This beach gets some excellent sunrises which is pretty rare for the west coast of Florida. I'm not exactly sure what the smaller birds are called - plovers, I think. The larger ones are Laughing Gulls. Behind the Peir you can make out the masts of the HMS Bounty.
