This beach photo of was taken at Caspersan Beach in Venice Florida. It's a wonderfully natural and remote beach. The city of Venice seems to have a problem with that, so they've convinced Sarasota county to help pave parts of it, close other parts with nasty signs saying it's a felony to go there. They've done this before. It seems that gay people like to go there and meet each other, people go there and have small fires on the beach, people go for walks after dark, all of these seem to really irk the folks of Venice who evidently feel that no one should be gay, like fires on the beach, or be out after dark.
